Pit Bull Foods to avoid like crazy!!

Did you know that some foods that we as humans consume a lot should be avoided like the plague for your pit?

What are these pit bull foods?

Before getting to the list I know that sometimes we want to give our pit some human foods and that we feel sorry that our pitbull must always eat packaged dog food.

Who does not feel sorry? Who can resist that look of your best friend when you are eating something?

Well of course you can sometimes feed your pit bull some human food but you must also know which foods are toxic and should always be avoided.

Here is a list of the top foods you should NEVER feed your pit:

1. Chocolate

According to Vet Dr. Andrew Jones author of the book Veterinary Secrets Revealed the toxic components of chocolate are theobromine and caffeine being theobromine the BIGGEST toxin.

The most dangerous chocolates are the dark ones because they contain more of this toxine. As a general guideline when reading labels, the higher the percentage of cocoa, the higher the amount of theobromine.

2. Alcohol

It goes without saying, don´t share a can of beer with your pit even if he knows how to get one from the fridge.

3. Avocado

Please NO Guacamole when taking your pitbull to your local Mexican restaurant

4. Coffee in all its forms

NO sharing of your daily Latte at Starbucks

5. Onions

6. Garlic

Keep that garlic breed just for yourself.

In a future article I will cover which foods are actually good for your pit bull.
