As you may know from some of my past articles , when it comes to pitbull training I am a big fan of using positive reinforcement techniques.
Positive reinforcement , is when you "reinforce"a desired behaviour so that the dog will be inclined to doing it over and over again.
The opposite of positive reinforcement is of course punishing a bad behaviour.
The most famous positive reinforcement pitbull training is the clicker method where a device (clicker) is used as a conditioned reinforcer.
Once you get very good you can substitute the clicker with words (also known as "bridge words") to get the desired effect.
